Rune Karlsen built his first flight simulator in the garage at Hadeland in 2005. With his self-built F14 simulator, he received a lot of media interest in the beginning, and was featured on TV Innlandet, Hadeland Avis, VG, Norge Rundt and Youtube. Many were impressed by the quality of the simulator and he was therefore encouraged to build more.

Rune eventually built simulators for training planes, helicopters and cars and opened an event company at Hadeland so that more people could try it.

After a few years of ticket sales and handling party-goers, he sold everything and established himself at Biri as a scooter and motorcycle repairman, something he will continue to work on in addition to simulators. After a while, he was inspired again to take up the old arts - this time by someone who was an F16 and is now an F35 pilot at Ørlandet.

Now he began the painstaking work of building an F16 simulator. After 3 years and many hours of work, he was finally able to show off an F16 built with a completely new motion system and controlled by electronics.

Several pilots have tested the simulator and have been very impressed. Rune was once again recommended to start producing simulators.

This is the reason why Simulatorproduksjon AS was started in 2024 and we are now ready to produce state-of-the-art simulators, which can be used in training and events.

After many years in the financial services industry and other private companies, we have developed a wealth of expertise in both leadership and project management. We are looking forward to embarking on this new adventure.
